This week I travelled to Gameti, Northwest Territories to photograph some of the people there, including their elders. I had a really wonderful time meeting everyone and hanging out in the community (my first time to Gameti too!). It's a beautiful little village between two large lakes and surrounded by bluffs. If you get the chance to visit, you really should.

Big thank you to the Tli Cho First Nation and the community of Gameti - especially Belinda Blackduck who set it all up and invited me, and to Rita for translating and helping gather the elders. And thanks to everyone who stopped by to have their picture taken!

I hope you enjoy the photos!
